چکیده
Abstract Aim The primary aim of this study is to determine whether there a change in patellar height after closure the tendon defect bone-patellar tendon-bone graft harvesting. secondary evaluate clinical and functional outcomes. Method A retrospective observational was conducted. Patients who were diagnosed with ACL injury underwent reconstruction using B-p-T-B technique from 2015 2020 included (56 patients). All patients same procedural steps centre. had pre- post-operative knee radiographs (antero-posterior lateral views). Caton- Deschamps Index used measure post-operatively. International Knee Documentation Committee-Subjective Evaluation Form assess outcome. Clinical outcome assessed by reviewing patient records. Results There pre-op index 0.995 +/- 0.144 (mean SD) post-op 0.948 0.150. With statistically significant decrease 0.048 0.131 (p value 0.009) found. null hypothesis (that no change) rejected therefore alternative (a height) accepted. mean IKDC-SKF score 76.851 15.015 (SD) ranging 40.2 100 Conclusions Performing B-pT-B technique, although predisposing decreased height, it does not increase incidence patella baja. An overall good achieved, 76.85. However, clear association between PF symptoms could be demonstrated.

Patellar tendon ossification after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction using bone – patellar tendon – bone autograft
BACKGROUND Among the various complications described in literature, the patellar tendon ossification is an uncommon occurrence in anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction using bone - patellar tendon - bone graft (BPTB). The heterotopic ossification is linked to knee traumatism, intramedullary nailing of the tibia and after partial patellectomy, but only two cases of this event linked to...

Objective: To compare the clinical efficacy of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction via autologous bone-patellar tendon-bone (auBPB), autologous hamstring tendon (auHT) and allogeneic bone-patellar tendon-bone (alBPB) under arthroscope. Methods: One hundred and thirty four cases of patients who accepted ACL reconstruction in our hospital from December 2013 to January 2016 were random...
متن کاملAnterior Cruciate Reconstruction Using Bone-patellar Ligament – Bone Autograft
Background: Injuries to ligaments of knee are common in our society especially in the young athletes and sports men participating in football, volleyball, rugby etc. Tears of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) leads to knee instability which leads to inability to participate in sports. In the none athletes ACL injury tends to decline in their level of daily activity. This is a study of ACL te...
متن کاملMR Imaging Findings of Patellar Tendon after Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction with Bone-Tendon-Bone Autograft
reconstruction by means of bone-patellar-bone (BTB) autografting is an increasingly popular procedure for the stabillization of ACL-deficient knee (1, 2). The central one-third of the patellar tendon and bony plugs are excised together to increase strength, durability and elasticity (3, 4) and the donor site is allowed to heal by primary intensification. The outcome of ACL reconstruction, using...

AIM To quantitatively assess rotatory and anterior-posterior instability in vivo after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction using bone-patellar tendon-bone (BTB) autografts, and to clarify the influence of tunnel positions on the knee stability. METHODS Single-bundle ACL reconstruction with BTB autograft was performed on 50 patients with a mean age of 28 years using the trans-tibia...
